SIGNiX, a leading digital signature and Remote Online Notarization technology company based in Chattanooga, Tennessee, announced its integration with Zoom Video Communications, Inc. SIGNiX’s eNotaryDoX provides a secure, convenient, and completely electronic alternative to the traditional in-person notary process using SIGNiX’s patented digital signature technology in concert with audio-video technology provided by Zoom.
Notaries and their document signers can meet virtually from anywhere, at any time to perform notarial acts, reducing the time and money it takes to travel and the costs to print, copy and mail important documents back and forth.
“Zoom is committed to supporting a high level of security and privacy across our platform. We are thrilled for SIGNiX to join Zoom’s ISV Partner Program because they share this commitment to deliver a safe and secure solution for notaries and their customers”, said Zoom’s Head of ISV, Steven Li.
With the Zoom integration, SIGNiX’s RON solution enables notaries to remain compliant with their state’s laws that require two-way audio and video communications. Notaries can visually inspect and verify the identification documentation of their signers. The signer is also required to submit their identity document to an electronic examination known as credential analysis. Additionally, the notary must retain an audio and video recording of the notarization session.
Nancy Croix-Stroud, CEO of First Class American Credit Union, stated “Making our members happy is critical. This technology will make it so much easier for them to do business with us. What once took days or weeks can be completed in minutes from any computer or mobile device with an Internet connection.”
SIGNiX’s integration with Zoom’s audio-video technology empowers notaries and their signers with a fast, secure, and convenient environment to perform remote online notarizations while complying with legal standards required by their state.
