Licensing Specialist

  • Full Time

CertifyOS is looking to hire a Licensing Specialist. We are looking for our next core team member to join the Licensing team! You will play an integral part in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of licensure applications across the healthcare provider spectrum in all U.S. states and territories. Additionally, you will be assisting in the training of the licensing team and in the development of our licensing processes. As an employee joining at the ground floor of this early-stage start-up, you’ll play a key role in helping to design and execute the infrastructure of this growing team. This is a fully remote role and will report to the Senior Lead of Licensing.

About CertifyOS:

CertifyOS is an API-first, UI agnostic, end-to-end provider network management platform for credentialing, monitoring, licensing, provider health plan enrollment, and provider sourcing. We’re an early-stage startup backed by top-tier VC funds and are looking to expand our footprint in the provider data space rapidly.

CertifyOS was started by former Oscar health employees who dealt with the pain points of scaling provider networks firsthand – the lack of APIs, the sub-par tech stack, poor user experience, and the piles of paperwork slowed us down. We built CertifyOS so that no other network management team will have to face the same pain points and bottlenecks that we faced.

CertifyOS is uniquely positioned with integrations into 100’s of primary sources, and is building a one-of-a-kind healthcare cloud that will reduce provider onboarding time from months to minutes.

At CertifyOS, we operate as a team. We foster a collaborative environment where everyone’s voices are heard, and your professional development is taken seriously. We take pride in our grit, and are looking to add more purpose-driven team members who want to make a difference in building out the next generation of healthcare infrastructure.

What you’ll do:

  • Maintain documentation and reporting regarding licensure applications in process
  • Retain records related to completed applications for licensure
  • Interact professionally with customers and State Board representatives to provide appropriate and timely responses to inquiries and concerns regarding licensure applications
  • Collaborate with leadership and teammates on process improvement
  • Assist with the training and development of the licensing analysts
  • Obtain and/or enter information in a timely and efficient manner
  • Lead and/or actively participate in client and departmental meetings

What you’ll need:

  • 2+ years of healthcare operations required, licensing experience strongly preferred
  • 1+ years of training experience
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with effective time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize throughout the day as workflow changes
  • Experience in multi-state compact licensing, notary documentation processes and fingerprinting processes is a plus!

Benefits of working at CertifyOS:

  • 100% of health, dental, and vision insurance premiums covered for employees
  • Unlimited PTO policy with a mandatory minimum of two weeks off
  • No meeting Thursdays so you can stay heads down to get work done
